What is Applied Kinesiology?
“Applied kinesiology (AK) is a system that evaluates structural, chemical and mental aspects of health using manual muscle testing combined with other standard methods of diagnosis.” International College of Applied Kinesiology
At Lab of Life Wellness Center, we use this non-invasive system to test our patients for underlying health issues that may not be otherwise discovered with traditional tests. Usually, AK is applied by physically testing the muscles against gentle applied pressure. Information gathered from AK testing is used to evaluate nutrition, allergies, environmental irritants, mental and subconscious traumas and structural issues in the body.
Applied Kinesiology is a tool for evaluating several elements that are tied to our overall health. There are three basic causes of health problems: structural, chemical and mental. We aim to address all three causes with different modalities that we offer in our wellness clinic. Chiropractic adjustment, our gut health program, nutritional counseling, massage, and ionic detox foot baths are ways that we can holistically heal the entire body.
We use AK in our clinic to find the underlying causes to all health issues because it is non-invasive and a quick way to find out what may be causing depression, anxiety, allergies and chronic pain in our patients who are suffering. Living with any of these debilitating issues is not normal for anyone and should be addressed immediately.
